Feed The Region

Pick up free family-sized meals for anyone who could use a hot meal made with love. This week’s meal features Veggie Pasta with homemade Bread. If you are not in need of a meal yourself, please consider picking them up for your neighbors who may.

Feed the Region Volunteer Times

Members of the Cooking Team will arrive on site at 5pm.
Cooking will begin immediately.
On-site volunteers who are not cooking will arrive at 6pm
Service begins at 7pm
Team meal and clean up to immediately follow the end of service.

Please remember your rubber soled cooking shoes and clean, pet-hair free kitchen clothes. Long hair must be pulled back.

This 20 minute virtual seminar is designed to keep littles engaged and creatively focused on what they can do to help others in their communities.

Volunteer Orientation for On-Site

Volunteer orientation for on-site volunteers.
Itinerary:
6PM: Presentation on Mission, Roles, and Expectations. Q&A
If you are joining us virtually, this is where you will leave us.
7PM: Cook practice meal + enjoy it together.

A great way to get to know your new team members. We will learn about what it takes to volunteer at an in-person event., cook a practice meal and enjoy it together. This event is designed to make sure you feel comfortable and confident to serve the community on your first Feed the Region event.
This event is in person, however if you can not attend in person, the first hour will also be shared on Zoom. A link will be shared one day prior to the event.

Event Requirements: Must bring in a clean, non-slip pair of shoes whether you are cooking or not. If you have pets, please also bring a change of “kitchen clothes”. Event is all ages but only volunteers aged 18+ will be able to cook.
